Dorothy Myers is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 27 years of experience providing substance abuse, mental health, and dual-diagnosis counseling to a culturally diverse group of adults and adolescents. She specializes in treating substance abuse, medication-assisted treatment, serious mental illness, depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, stress, relationship issues, and anger.
Dorothy completed her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a sub-specialty in Marital and Family Therapy at Kutztown University. Diagnosed with OCD in 1992, she learned firsthand about the skills necessary to keep mental health conditions from holding you back. Dorothy utilizes an eclectic approach that combines aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy (PCT), psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy (SFT), family systems theory, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
