About
As a therapist, I believe building a strong therapeutic alliance is key to progress.
Jaceline Celestin is a Licensed Master Family Therapist (LMFT) who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples who are working through relationship issues, divorce, dating, parenting challenges, trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, ADHD, trauma, grief, and LGBTQ+ issues.
Jaceline hopes to provide a therapeutic space where individuals, couples, families, or groups feel empowered to make changes in their lives and relationships. In order to help clients reach their therapeutic goals, she utilizes methods including narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while placing an emphasis on solutions-focused approaches, as well. Jaceline is also trained in mind-body medicine techniques, such as deep breathing, art therapies, and meditation.
Jaceline knows that it takes courage to acknowledge that certain behaviors or ideas no longer benefit us or our relationships. As a counselor, she'll help you see that the silver lining is that we have the power to change our lives. She believes that the past does shape us—but the road to our future can take us wherever we want. Therapy is about empowerment and growth without judgment or labels. Jaceline is excited to hear your story and is equally excited to help you reach your therapeutic goals. As a therapist, she believes that building a strong client-counselor alliance is key to progress, and will help create an individualized treatment plan that suits your needs.

As a Registered Nurse and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I recognize how stress, anxiety and depression can be affected by an acute or chronic illness.
I’m an RN and LCSW with experience in community mental health, medical social work, and group therapy. I work with adults 18+ and seniors 65+ who are navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, or simply need a supportive place to talk things through. I also provide therapy to those in the medical field, experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue. I am especially interested in clients facing eating disorders, grief and loss as well as looking at career change.
Clients describe me as approachable, caring, and practical. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your story without fear of judgment. I use CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, SFBT, solution focused brief therapy as well as a strengths based approach in therapy. I believe healing starts with being heard. In our sessions, you’ll have space to tell your story, share what brought you to therapy, and explore new perspectives.
My style is collaborative and supportive — I’ll help you reframe unhelpful thoughts, practice practical coping skills like journaling and mindfulness, and problem-solve to create realistic solutions for your future. I became a therapist after working as an RN for many years. I realized that I was interested in exploring a client's back story regarding stress. I am a dog lover, and also enjoy going to the gym, and watching documentaries.

Heather Payne is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 12 years of experience. She provides counseling to adults, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, medical conditions, perinatal and postpartum depression, women's issues, and adoption-related issues. Heather believes there is no such thing as "one size fits all" and works with each person to find the tools and coping skills specific to their needs. Heather received a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Her prior experience as a pediatric and neonatal intensive care Registered Nurse (RN) has given her the ability to quickly establish empathy and rapport with her clients. Her counseling approach includes person-centered therapy (PCT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) solutions-focused therapy (SFT), sand tray therapy (STT), and play therapy (PT) along with other modalities. Heather believes we can find the solutions to many of our challenges within ourselves if we feel supported and empowered to do so. She believes her role is to meet her clients where they are and work with them in a safe and accepting environment to help them become their best selves. If you are ready to take the first step, schedule an appointment with Heather today.

From personal and professional experience, I have found that the more transparent and truthful you are to yourself, the easier it is to work through issues and find peace.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. My passion lies in helping people identify barriers to personal growth, improve emotional balance, and enhance their overall well-being. I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, codependency, life transitions, and communication difficulties in relationships.
I earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and focused on teaching practical tools that clients can apply in their daily lives. I believe in open, honest communication and often provide exercises between sessions to reinforce the skills we explore together.
Our first session will be a welcoming introduction where I get to know you, your background, and your goals. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can freely express yourself. Together, we’ll work toward identifying what’s standing in your way and build a path toward stability, success, and a more fulfilling life, one step at a time.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

My go-to approach for helping people in couples/marriage counseling is to build rapport, hear each person's perspective. Then educate, demonstrate, and have couples practice the communication, conflict resolution, and active listening tools in session. I find the best benefit is when couples commit to practicing tools learned in sessions at home.
I teach the following tools in/couples marriage counseling: active listening, which ensures the person is not letting their perspective skew/change the message from their partner; using “I” statements instead of “you” statements since “you” statements put the other person on the defensive; the 4 Horsemen; and antidote concept, which helps couples identify toxic communication and change it.
I know clients are making meaningful progress in couples/marriage counseling when they are practicing tools learned in sessions.
Clients can supplement their time in couples/marriage counseling with podcasts, marriage seminars, and books, to which I can refer material.
To prepare for your first couples/marriage counseling session, you can come with an open mind.
Thriveworks Couples therapy helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. It is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples. Some examples of common focuses within couples therapy include:
Couples therapy works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges. Following an initial assessment of the couple in terms of strengths and needs, the therapist would then discuss their therapeutic goals and any possible approaches or ways of working together as therapist and couple.Couples attend sessions together, whether they meet in person or by video. In addition to regular couples therapy sessions, each partner may also be asked to attend a few individual sessions to supplement their progress. This will allow their counselor to get to know each individual better, assess each of their personal needs, and develop the very best treatment plan moving forward.
Couples therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and via Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend couples therapy for 12 weeks. However, couples therapy may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
