About
Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach. When we work together, we’ll partner in your therapeutic journey, focusing on what matters most to you. It’s important to me that you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being open. I’ll be there to listen, offer perspective, gently challenge patterns when needed, and support you as you work toward meaningful change.
As a licensed mental health counselor, I believe prioritizing your mental health is key to feeling more balanced and fulfilled in your life. With 25 years of experience, I work with adolescents, adults, families, and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, unable to turn off their mind, or stuck in racing thoughts that make it hard to relax or feel present. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to your specific needs.
My practice focuses on evidence-based support like CBT for those navigating: Anxiety and Racing Thoughts: Helping you quiet the mind and find peace. Depression: Working through the fog to rediscover motivation and joy. Relationship Challenges: Enhancing communication and resolving conflicts. Stress Management: Developing tools to manage feeling overwhelmed.

I believe there is no one right way to live a good life, and therapy helps us learn what keeps us healthy, strong, and happy by helping us gain tools to cope with what we cannot control.
I am a registered clinical social worker intern (RCSWI) with 5 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across private practice, treatment centers, and community-based settings. I support individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, family challenges, and major life transitions, with a focus on helping clients feel more balanced and supported. My approach is caring, respectful, and strength-based, with an emphasis on setting clear, realistic goals and building practical skills for everyday life.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Georgia. I utilize evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and motivational interviewing.
Beginning therapy takes courage, and I believe every person who enters therapy has the capacity to grow and heal with the right support. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where we work together at your pace to foster self-acceptance, build healthy habits, and move toward meaningful change. You do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Counselor with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with children, families, and adults. I have a passion for teaching and have had the privilege of supervising students and teaching at the Academy for Addiction Professionals. I typically work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, anger, bereavement, life transitions, and relationship challenges who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I tailor my approach to each person's needs, blending CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems with a client-centered style. Together, we can build healthy coping skills, explore patterns holding you back, and make changes that feel realistic and meaningful.
Seeking help takes courage and is an important first step toward healing and growth. It's easy to get caught up in autopilot and forget to focus on yourself. In our work together, we'll build a supportive relationship where you can explore your feelings, notice where you feel stuck, and create space for positive change.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

Anxiety therapy helps people better understand and manage their anxiety. Anxiety therapists at Thriveworks in West Palm Beach, FL can develop a treatment plan that will help you better manage your day-to-day anxiety or your anxiety disorder.
Anxiety therapy involves talking to a therapist about symptoms, potential causes, and more. Thriveworks West Palm Beach therapists will then work with you to determine where your anxiety might stem from and teach you effective coping mechanisms.
One of the best ways to deal with anxiety is to learn about your own anxiety: your symptoms, what triggers it, and what coping mechanisms have been effective in the past. When you learn what your anxiety is tied to, it can help you be mindful of what’s really happening as well as prevent and mitigate symptoms by processing and working through the issue in therapy. Other strategies that have been shown to help manage anxiety are meditation, challenging anxious thoughts, exercising, and journaling.
Common symptoms of anxiety include:
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be incredibly effective in treating anxiety and anxiety disorders. Other effective techniques include exposure therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and EMDR therapy.
Anxiety therapy is conducted both in person and online, depending on the individual’s preferences and their therapist’s availability. We suggest choosing the option that best suits your needs.
On average, people can tend to attend 15 to 20 session of anxiety therapy (five or more months).
