About
I approach mental health care with humility and cultural awareness, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique and deserving of individualized, holistic support.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with eight years of nursing experience spanning multiple specialties, I bring a broad clinical perspective to mental health care across the lifespan. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, burnout, and difficult life transitions. My approach is compassionate, holistic, and rooted in evidence-based practice—combining psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy to treat the whole person, not just symptoms. I partner with each client to build personalized treatment plans centered on resilience.
I earned my Master of Science in nursing from Walden University. My approach is collaborative and individualized, combining comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and thoughtful medication management with psychoeducation, mindfulness-based strategies, and strength-based coping skills.
If you've been carrying more than you let others see, you don't have to do it alone. I offer a warm, respectful, judgment-free space where we can identify patterns, build practical tools, and restore clarity and confidence. When you're ready, I'm here to help you take that next step toward meaningful, sustainable change.

Career counseling can last for weeks, months, or even years. It all depends on the goals that you’re looking to accomplish and whether you continue to want/need a counselor to help you reach your goals. Either way, our career counselors are here and ready to help you get on the right track.
Deciding on a career or a change of profession later on in life can be daunting experiences for anyone at any age. Another problem many face is uncertainty. For example, they won’t know for sure whether they’ve made the right choice or not until after they have tried it. Just because we think a certain career is a good fit, that doesn’t mean it is; it just means we think it is, at the time. It may well be a perfect fit too but it might not also, and that’s the point.
Fortunately, a career counselor can help us figure it out. Reach out to Thriveworks Fredericksburg to schedule your first career counseling appointment.
Anyone who carries too much uncertainty around in their head is in for a painful and frustrating experience. With big decisions to make in life, like careers, sometimes it’s better to let others step in and help. Career counseling is a service that can see in people what they are unable to see in themselves. They won’t do the work for you, but they do offer the tools necessary so that you can make better decisions and start off on the right path.
One of the main problems people run into when trying to decide on a career are the internal conflicts. These are the conversations that go on inside the head; conflicts that don’t usually come to any decisive conclusions. Some of these internal conflicts will include:
As you can see, there can be more questions than answers when it comes to finding the perfect career fit. Again, this is where vocational counseling and guidance can step in and help.
Fredericksburg, VA career counseling services are here to help. Call us at 540-322-5424 and schedule an appointment today and explore all your options with one of our career guidance advisors. We offer evening and weekend sessions, accept most major insurances, and provide additional benefits, too.
