As someone who has experienced dysfunctional family life , I understand the struggles that unfold and how painful the experience is. I now have a unique perspective on the deeper meaning of life and the importance of healthy relationships throughout our lifetime. Learning how to build and maintain these relationships takes time and I hope I can empower you to start that journey.
I graduated in 2012 with my master's in social work from Fordham University in NYC. I worked in psychiatric hospitals do intakes and assessments, an substance abuse facility, as well as doing in home mental health counseling for adolescents and adults. Throughout my 14 years of experience, I have enjoyed doing private mental health therapy the most and have specialized in working with couples, marriages and families. My clients have brought many everyday struggles to my practice including infidelity, loss of connection, family conflict, domestic abuse, addictions within the family and blended family struggles.
I have been trained on the Gottman and Emotional Focused Therapeutic techniques for my couples. I have also been trained on ACT and CBT approaches for my individual clients seeking emotional stability.
I look forward to meeting each one of you, hearing your story and walking with you in your journey to emotional stability and healing your relationships.
