Cheryl Vossekuil is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LADC) with more than 27 years of experience in the mental health field. She believes that her purpose is to help people find peace and happiness. Cheryl has had extensive experience helping clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions.

Cheryl has a Ph.D. in English from Michigan State University and holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. She uses various treatment approaches, including motivation interviewing, thought field therapy (TFT), and brief solution-focused therapy (BSFT).

Cathrin’s life passion is helping others discover their own. She strives to help clients find their own purpose and passion for life, whatever that may be. Sometimes it may be buried beneath the stresses of life, but Cathrin will walk side by side with you as you both discover what makes you tick, and what may be stopping you from living your very best life.

Cathrin has worked in a plethora of settings, including an inpatient crisis hospital, with military families, career counseling, and for a non-profit in a sexual abuse trauma treatment program. She specializes in Military Culture, Blended Families, Divorce, and Addiction.

My journey into therapy began after I realized people were able to overcome really difficult experiences. I continue to believe that people cope with trauma in the best way they know how, and that courage and resilience come from inside. My role is to help you access those sometimes forgotten abilities. I work primarily with adults navigating trauma, building coping skills, or exploring personal goals. Whether you're working through trauma or exploring your goals, I'll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable.

I treat every person as the expert in their lives and approach every session with curiosity. I use EMDR and Prolonged Exposure Therapy to help manage difficult memories, Internal Family Systems to help you better understand yourself, and mindfulness and relaxation to help you manage stressful situations.

Therapy is a partnership. We'll identify and set goals that matter to you As we work together, your goals may evolve as you gain new insights. Working together we will get to know each other and build a relationship. In the first few sessions, we will focus on coping and self-soothing, and I'll share techniques you can use when you feel overwhelmed.

From a young age, I was exposed to the world of living in underserved communities and spent most of my summers traveling to northern states where my family would work for farmers. These childhood and adolescent experiences and the challenges and realities that came with them helped shape the person I am today. These formative experiences have shaped my perspective and instilled in me a deep empathy and understanding for individuals from different backgrounds and upbringings. As a therapist, I bring this personal narrative into my practice, creating a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their own experiences and find healing. My aim is to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive support to help individuals navigate their unique journeys towards mental well-being."

Jose Ramon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 14 years of experience in mental health care. Jose specializes in depression, anxiety, acute stressors, chronic pain, and medical comorbidities. He works well with geriatric populations (55+) and people with chronic and persistent behavioral health conditions. Jose is a veteran; he served in the Army for 10 years and has experience working with veterans and active duty members of the Armed Forces. This experience helps him provide support and guidance that clients are seeking. Jose completed his Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland Graduate School of Social Work.

Jose’s primary treatment approach is a multimodal or eclectic approach that includes cognitive behavior therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness meditation in addition to concepts from other models that best suit the client’s life experience and needs. He’s passionate about helping adults and adolescents feel more fulfilled.
