About
I believe healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted without judgment, allowing them to show up as their authentic selves.
I spent many years working in the entertainment industry before returning to school to pursue my passion for helping others and creating a safe, supportive space where people can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I am currently an ACSW working toward licensure, with training in trauma-informed care, substance abuse, and Motivational Interviewing. I work with a wide range of clients, particularly individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges, and many are seeking support in understanding themselves more deeply, improving coping skills, building healthier relationships, and feeling more grounded in their daily lives.
My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I utilize Motivational Interviewing and person-centered techniques to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and feel more empowered in their lives. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and emotional challenges while creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth.
Healing and growth can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and accepted for who they are. If you are ready to begin your journey toward healing, self-understanding, and personal growth, I would be honored to support you along the way.

OCD counseling is a specialized therapeutic approach aimed at supporting individuals coping with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The goal of this counseling is to help clients manage and alleviate the distressing symptoms of OCD by systematically addressing their obsessive thought patterns and compulsive behaviors.
In OCD counseling, Thriveworks Thousand Oaks therapists use cognitive behavioral techniques, including exposure and response prevention, to assist you in addressing and managing your obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. An OCD therapist will collaborate with you to identify and modify irrational thought patterns while gradually and gently exposing you to anxiety-triggering situations, helping to disrupt the cycle of obsessive-compulsive rituals and promote healthier coping strategies.
Thriveworks OCD counseling in Thousand Oaks, CA is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The number of sessions for OCD counseling is variable, contingent upon the individual’s unique needs, the severity of their condition, and their progress during treatment. Typically, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), commonly used for OCD, comprises around 12 to 16 weekly sessions, but the exact session count can be customized based on the individual’s response to treatment and therapeutic objectives. Some opt for a more extended duration to comprehensively manage symptoms and address complex issues.
