John is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and a board-certified National Certified Counselor (NCC). John completed his undergraduate work at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas in 2003 and received his Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2012. John has worked in the field of mental health, substance use, and lifestyle recovery for over 20 years. He is a highly skilled and trained therapist, with experience working with children and their families, adolescents, couples, and social relationships. He specializes in mood disorders, conflict resolution, relationship issues, anger management, adjustment disorders, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, emotional disturbances, dual diagnosis, stress management, substance use disorders, addiction, and recovery. He has a background in the non-profit and governmental sectors, and has a focus on wellness and mindfulness, with a holistic approach to therapy.
John completed his Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling at the University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. John has extensive knowledge and experience working in the field of outpatient services and inpatient treatment. He provides counseling and group therapy for individuals, couples, adolescents, and children. His extensive knowledge of modern methods and techniques of counseling psychotherapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy, REBT, reality therapy, gestalt therapy, client-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. John has worked with a wide range of psychotherapeutic methods specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-based focused therapy, motivational interviewing, client-centered therapy, relaxation techniques, integrative therapy, and talk therapy in working with individuals, couples, and families.

Naomi Brown (she, they) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor with 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Naomi started her education at City College of New York and completed her Master's in Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. Naomi has spent the last ten years as a therapist and Community Activist in the LGBTQ Community spending a significant amount of her career working with Trans youth. Naomi has multiple treatment approaches and extensive training in bereavement and grief, motivational interviewing, and extensive trauma work including movement, expressive arts, and mindfulness. Naomi believes people, families, and relationships are healed by empowering the client to hear, to listen, and to be heard.
