I am a Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) from Saginaw Valley State University and a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) from the University of Michigan, with over 15 years of nursing experience in the Emergency Department and as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient psychiatric clinic. I believe in individualized, person-centered, holistic care, and I specialize in diagnosing and treating people across the lifespan with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma, adjustment issues, and co-occurring disorders.

I begin by building a trusting relationship where clients feel comfortable. I help clients become active in their healing. I focus on educating clients about their condition and its impact on relationships and life. I educate clients about prescribed medications—how to take them and potential side effects—so adherence increases and progress isn't delayed.

Sally is an experienced, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan. She is able to effectively diagnose and treat adult clients suffering with mental health concerns. Sally views mental health as being central to and interconnected with overall health, and utilizes a range of integrative, lifestyle, and self-management techniques in assisting clients to achieve their mental health goals. She is able to effectively prescribe and manage treatment with psychotropic medications, in combination with other complimentary treatments.

Sally completed her Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Post Master's Certificate in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing all from the University of Michigan. She has been working in psychiatric nursing for over 30 years and has experience working at a large academic medical center. Her psychiatric nursing experience includes inpatient, partial hospital programs, psychiatric emergency rooms, and outpatient clinic care settings.

Sally is committed to sharing knowledge and answering all of her clients' questions and concerns so that they feel confident and comfortable with their treatment plan. Making the decision to seek therapy is incredibly courageous. I have over 19 years experience working as a Social Worker and I am a licensed Master’s Social Worker. I have worked with a diverse population with a variety of diagnoses and situations. However, I believe that each person’s experience is unique and while they may be similar to someone else’s, no two people or situations are the same, therefore neither are the solutions. I provide a non-judgmental , compassionate, therapeutic environment. Working together is essential to creating a good therapeutic relationship and one that is most beneficial. Glenda Martinez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Glenda is certified as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) and holds a certificate for Nutrition and Holistic Health. She has a compassion for helping others and provides individualized assessments and treatment plans to guide the therapy process for adults, including family therapy sessions per request. Glenda specializes in depressive disorders (SAD, major depression, and depression due to medical conditions); anxiety disorders (general anxiety, separation anxiety, social anxiety) and panic disorder; mood disorders (such as bipolar disorder); substance use disorders (alcohol and drug use); post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); and much more.

Glenda completed her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at Saginaw Valley University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Eastern University with Honors. She has great interest in creative arts and completed her Associate of Arts degree with the honor of being selected for the Presidents List throughout her semesters. Glenda utilizes an integrative, strength-based, and client-centered approach while incorporating mindfulness, holistic principles, and creativity. She enjoys including creative outlets of art, creative writing, and physical wellness when a client is interested in doing so. With years of experience in substance use recovery, recovery focus is also an area of expertise. Glenda has many years of experience with diverse populations and settings. This has allowed her to gather many tools to empower individuals in navigating through any challenges throughout their life journey.

Additional approaches implemented by Glenda that support change while providing a safe place for healing are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, solution focused, experiential therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, existential, and humanistic therapy. Although Glenda has a variety of treatment models, she believes working as a collaborative team creates a solid professional and therapeutic relationship that guides the sessions to successful outcomes and determines what is the best approach for each individual. Jordan Arntz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. Jordan is passionate about helping clients develop realistic goals and achieving them. Jordan obtained a certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) as well and has completed this model with multiple clients.

Marcy West is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 30 years of experience in the mental health, substance abuse, and medical social work professions. Marcy has vast experience treating a variety of age groups and concerns. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 4 years of experience and specialized training in trauma, autism, anxiety, and anger management. I earned a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College, where I also trained at a neuropsychological clinic. I have received training in cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure, and motivational interviewing, allowing me to tailor care to each client.

Maria Tovar-Ruiz is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LPC, LAADC) who has over 24 years of experience specializing in helping clients who are suffering from symptoms related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, women’s issues, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem, anger management and substance use.

She earned her Master’s degree from Michigan State University and strives to create a relationship where you will feel fully acknowledged, valued, and seen for the unique person that you are. Maria has an eclectic, down to earth and humorous approach to therapy. She values partnering with people from diverse backgrounds who are seeking to increase their life satisfaction and quality of life.
