About
Life is always changing, and we are constantly learning how to adapt and grow. As a queer woman of color in the Latinx community, I bring both lived experience and clinical understanding to the work I do. I recognize how deeply life experiences and intergenerational trauma can shape who we are and how we move through the world. I am committed to supporting healing, resilience, and meaningful change for the individuals and communities I work with.
Hi, I'm Amaryllis, but you can call me Ama. I earned my Master of Social Work degree and have spent nearly eight years in clinical practice. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. I work with teens, adults, and older adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and intergenerational wounds. Together, we'll create a compassionate, judgment-free space to foster healing, build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and help you move toward the life you want.
My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your needs. I integrate CBT, CPT, ACT, mindfulness, personcentered, solution-focused, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches to build coping skills, foster resilience, and support healing in a safe, affirming space.
Healing can hold both tears and laughter. I strive to create a compassionate, judgmentfree space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted for who you are. When you're ready, I invite you to take the next step and begin your journey with me.
