I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 2 years of experience supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I strive to create a safe, steady space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward clarity and healing. Andrew is a Licensed Professional Counselor, practicing since 2020 using a non-directive, client-centered approach primarily inspired by Carl Rogers. Andrew has experience working with individuals struggling with life transitions, stress, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Andrew’s undergraduate work included research in psychology and studies in philosophy on human nature. After studying theology at Moravian Theological Seminary, he went on to obtain his Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at the same institution and is currently pursuing his License in Professional Counseling. Yes, there are therapists who help with anger via Anger management therapy. It’s a therapeutic process that an individual goes through to manage their anger and identify its triggers. They’re given clear instructions on how to improve their angry behavior as well as a safe space for opening up about their emotions.
Once an individual’s triggers are identified, anger management therapy focuses on helping the individual process and respond to these emotions in a more positive and productive manner.
