About
As a counselor, educator, and author with over 2 decades of experience in psychotherapy, specializing in sexuality, addictions, and psycho-emotional issues, I bring a rich and varied range of expertise to my work, grounded in a compassionate, client-centered orientation.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 25 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging transitions. My approach combines compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based strategies to help clients find healing, balance, and empowerment. I specialize in relationship issues, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, and personal growth, and I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients can reconnect with their strengths and begin to thrive.
I earned my Master’s in Marriage, Family, and Child Psychology from the University of Phoenix. My therapeutic style integrates person-centered care with experiential and reality-based approaches, focusing on developing insight, building healthy communication, and strengthening emotional resilience.
If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I look forward to helping you find clarity, connection, and a renewed sense of self.

Panic attack disorder therapy is a specialized therapeutic approach designed to help individuals suffering from recurrent and debilitating panic attacks. During therapy sessions, individuals work closely with trained Thriveworks Westminster therapists to identify and understand the triggers and thought patterns that contribute to their panic attacks. Through panic attack disorder therapy, individuals learn to manage their anxiety, develop coping strategies, and regain control over their lives, ultimately leading to a reduction in the severity of panic attacks.
Panic attack disorder therapy often utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques like exposure therapy and relaxation exercises to help individuals manage and mitigate panic attacks. These methods involve desensitizing triggers, reducing physical and emotional symptoms, and challenging irrational thought patterns to empower individuals to recognize, control, and reduce the frequency and intensity of panic attacks.
Panic attack disorder therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and through Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
Panic attack disorder therapy may last for a variable amount of time, depending on the individual’s unique needs.

In the time when you are not having an attack, you are worried about the next attack. There is no chance to relax or feel relief from panic. You may alter your schedule and life so much that it negatively affects your career, relationships, family, and social life. You may start to avoid leaving the house, sever ties with friends, and create distance from those you love. Unfortunately, these attempts to prevent an attack rarely work, and you are left feeling defeated and alone.
Thriveworks Westminster counselors are leaders in their field. They are able to use many different techniques in order to help you find relief from panic disorder. We can help you learn relaxation techniques, focused breathing methods, avoid caffeine, alcohol, and smoking.
Also, we can use cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as exposure therapy, to help you overcome panic disorder. In these controlled environments, we can help you become desensitized to your triggers for panic attacks. In addition, our psychiatric nurse practitioners can use medication to supplement your work in therapy. We will create a personalized plan for each and every client.
At Thriveworks Westminster, we do not believe in waiting lists. Instead, we can often meet with new clients within the same week of scheduling. In addition, we offer evening and weekend sessions, and we accept most major insurances.
