As a counselor, educator, and author with over 2 decades of experience in psychotherapy, specializing in sexuality, addictions, and psycho-emotional issues, I bring a rich and varied range of expertise to my work, grounded in a compassionate, client-centered orientation.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 25 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging transitions. My approach combines compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based strategies to help clients find healing, balance, and empowerment. I specialize in relationship issues, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, and personal growth, and I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients can reconnect with their strengths and begin to thrive.
I earned my Master’s in Marriage, Family, and Child Psychology from the University of Phoenix. My therapeutic style integrates person-centered care with experiential and reality-based approaches, focusing on developing insight, building healthy communication, and strengthening emotional resilience.

Jenn completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University in Boulder Colorado. Outside of therapy, movement includes volleyball, softball, and running to nurture her mind-body connection and teamwork community. Her mindfulness-based meditation practice reminds her to return to the breath and remain embodied with her life's work. Jenn utilizes multiple modalities that include a blend of emotional-focused, gestalt, internal family systems, attachment-based, somatic, and person-centered counseling techniques.

Individual therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and via Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The duration of your individual therapy sessions will vary. The decision on the number and frequency of sessions is typically collaboratively determined by the client and therapist.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state.
