Alexandera is dedicated in supporting her clients as they navigate personal difficulties and find their own personal strength.
Alexandera completed her Master of Science (MS) in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy at the University of Phoenix. Her therapeutic styles include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused, and strength based therapy. Utilizing a few approaches helps meet the need of every client.
It is Alexandera’s goal to create a supportive environment for clients to have the ability to start feeling in control of their inner strength. With inner strength a client is able to build on a stronger emotional foundation.

My go-to approach for helping people in PTSD/trauma therapy is bringing awareness that trauma is on a spectrum and is individualized to a person's perspective. I use psychodynamic and attachment theory-based modalities to explore how past trauma influences current behaviors and beliefs. I prefer to explore causes for feeling unsafe because, as adults, we can create our own sense of safety.
