About
As a man of color who has walked through trauma and grief, I offer you a grounded, steady presence where you feel safe, understood, and supported to clear emotional and psychological blocks, release limiting patterns, strengthen resilience, and move with confidence toward your fullest potential.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 15 years of experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy. I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, infidelity recovery, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients feel stuck in painful patterns, overwhelmed by past experiences, or disconnected from their confidence and direction. I focus on helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and create healthier patterns in their lives and relationships. My approach is active, structured, and relational.
I earned my master's degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University. I use EMDR and evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients process experiences, regulate emotions, and move toward change. For couples, I utilize Gottman Method techniques to strengthen communication and rebuild trust.
My goal is to provide a calm, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Together, we will identify emotional roadblocks, develop practical tools, and build skills that support lasting progress. If you are ready to move beyond surviving and begin creating the life and relationships you want, I look forward to working with you.

Hello! I am an LCSW with over seventeen years of counseling experience and I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies.
I have a BFA in painting and an MSW, and over seventeen years of counseling experience. Prior to earning my MSW, I worked on a crisis line. My parents came from different cultural backgrounds, and I am a parent who has been both married and divorced. While I maintain a circle of family and close friends, I have also experienced multiple losses, and both of my parents are gone. My life experiences have helped me become a better counselor. I work particularly well with clients who struggle with grief, anxiety, and depression.
As a counselor, I take a humanistic and client-centered approach. To me, counseling is the constant asking of "What next?" — meaning that through both prosperous and difficult times, it is important to make sound, responsible decisions. I have collaborated with adults, children, and adolescents, and provided individual, group, and couples counseling.
The variety and breadth of my experiences have contributed to my effectiveness as a counselor. Counseling is a journey that can be illuminating, and fun, but also arduous and demanding. I look forward to accompanying you on that journey.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

The number of life coaching sessions someone attends can differ based on the coach and the client’s choices. How many sessions are needed and how often they occur often hinges on the client’s objectives and the complexity of their concerns. Some clients might opt for a few sessions to tackle particular goals or issues, while others may decide on ongoing coaching sessions to work on personal growth and life enhancement over a more extended period of time. Thriveworks Phoenix therapists work with clients to create goals and potential timelines for treatment.

Life coaches can help you learn to set and achieve goals by introducing structure and organization into your schedule. In your introductory session, your provider will listen to your goals, concerns, and circumstances to create a plan that aligns with your needs and helps you reach your human potential.
Take financial planning, for instance. For some, financial planning can mean creating a long-term goal such as opening and contributing to a college fund for a child beginning on the child’s first birthday. For others, financial planning can have short-term implications such as saving for a car down payment by year’s end or saving for a trip by the beginning of the summer.
Whether your goal is long or short-term, our life coaches can help you get there. Additionally, your provider can help you update your goals as you achieve your previous targets. In this way, your life coach adds continued value to your life as you work to achieve your many aspirations.
Whether you’re unhappy with your life or are just looking for a way to find additional fulfillment, life coaching sessions with a Thriveworks coach can help add vigor to your routine. Our coaches are here to motivate you, guide you, and offer their expert services.
