Every week I dread going to therapy talking about myself, but once I'm talking to Ryan and after my session I'm so much happier and have a brighter outlook for the week ahead than I go into therapy.

My therapist is your best friend and it makes it so easy to open up and share. She's full of insights that seem obvious when she says it but has never been a consideration for you. I am wholly pleased with my experience.

Emerson and I have worked together for several years, he has helped me through some of the biggest challenges in my life and has been excellent at adapting to my specific therapeutic needs over the years. . At this time I can't think of anything that could be improved, except maybe not needing a dozen reminders of my next appointment starting 5 days out from said appointment.

Nick Fulks is phenomenal. I've seen a handful of therapists over the years, and he is by far the best. Not only does he make me feel safe in being vulnerable, but he shares targeted and effective tools for me. I am so grateful to him. Honestly, I'd likely leave Thriveworks if he ever left; he deserves a raise!

Experience effective therapy with a counselor or therapist in Ohio

If I were to ask you about the most important things in life, what would your answer be? Likely, your loved ones would be top of mind. But what about you? Would your wellbeing—your health, your happiness, your success, your fulfillment—cross your mind at all?

Funny enough, many of us put our wellbeing on the backburner. We allow ourselves to suffer while we cater to the needs of others. Here’s the thing: It’s perfectly okay to devote time and energy into our relationships, but we need to put this same time and energy (if not more) into ourselves! We deserve to participate in self-care; we deserve to check in with our emotions; we deserve to spend time alone with our thoughts; we deserve to take care of our mental health. And when we find ourselves struggling—in any way, shape, or form—we deserve to seek and receive some extra help and support.

What I love about therapy is that they’ll tell you what your blind spots are. Although that’s uncomfortable and painful, it gives you something to work with. –Pink

When you’ve identified that it’s time to seek and receive this extra help and support, we hope you consider working with one of our mental health professionals. We have counselors, therapists, psychologists, and life coaches who can help you via online counseling services. We can provide both telephone counseling and video counseling—and we’re happy to meet you in whichever online environment you prefer. Thriveworks Counseling understands just how important one’s mental health is; we are here to help you optimize your mental health, so that you can live a happy, successful life for years to come. Whenever you need us, we’re here. To schedule an appointment for online counseling in Ohio, just call our office.

Do I Need Mental Health Help?

Thriveworks Counseling sets residents of Ohio up with skilled, caring mental health professionals. We believe that anyone can benefit from a relationship with a counselor, therapist, or life coach, and our clients can testify to the truth of this statement. If you are struggling, even slightly, we want to lend you are help. Our mental health professionals specialize in many different counseling services including:

As you can see, the services we offer address a myriad of problems, from mental illnesses to relationship problems, traumatic experiences, anger, stress, and more. However or wherever you are struggling in your life, our Thriveworks Counseling professionals are happy to meet you there and guide you down the right path. They’ll help you find greater happiness, health, success, or all of the above.

Does Therapy Work? Is Counseling Effective?

If you have never worked with a counselor before, you might have some reservations about this whole thing. First, we want to say that any fears or nerves you might have are valid. It’s normal to feel fearful or nervous when you enter unchartered territory. Second, we want to congratulate you for exploring this new land! And third, we want you to know that we think you will not only benefit from but enjoy your time in therapy. Many of our clients find that counseling is the supportive, empowering space they’ve been looking for. And they only wish they had met with a counselor sooner.

Now, if you do choose to work with a Thriveworks counselor or life coach, your provider will first get to know you better. They’ll probably ask you a few questions about what you are experiencing, what’s brought you to counseling, and what you hope to get out of this whole process. These questions will help them better understand what they can do for you and inform their treatment plan that they design just for you. Ultimately, your provider’s mission will be to help you live a life that makes you happy, that supports your mental health and wellbeing, and that enables you to succeed.

Set Up Your Appointment with Thriveworks Counseling in Ohio

If you’re ready to schedule your first session with a counselor, therapist, psychologist, or life coach, we’re here to make that happen. You can schedule your appointment by calling our office and speaking to one of our scheduling specialists. Or, you can schedule your appointment right on our website. Whichever you choose is just fine. Either way, our online providers will be ready to talk to you over the phone or in your video conference.
