Yolanda completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and Master of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University. My go-to approach for helping people in teen counseling is conversational. I find the best benefit in this because it allows teens to open up and feel more comfortable.
I teach the following tools in teen counseling: relaxation skills, coping skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills, anger management skills, time management skills, parenting skills, positive self-talk, mindfulness skills, etc.
