About
As a Latino man in long-term recovery from opioid addiction, I transformed my struggle with PTSD and ADHD into a passion for helping others find hope and healing through their own recovery journeys.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider with 10 years of experience supporting clients through trauma, addiction, and life transitions. My background in biology and behavioral science gives me a unique, evidence-based perspective on emotional and physical healing. I specialize in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, depression, identity issues, and substance misuse develop practical strategies for lasting change.
I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, where I specialized in trauma and addiction and received eye movement desensitization reprocessing training.. I integrate EMDR with cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy techniques to help clients replace negative core beliefs with healthier, more adaptive ways of thinking and coping.
I am passionate about helping clients rediscover hope and empowerment in their lives, relationships, and careers. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, and I don’t want clients to suffer in silence. I’m honored to walk alongside each person on their healing journey, reminding them that rescue is possible and recovery is real.

Infidelity counseling is a specialized therapeutic approach designed for couples grappling with the aftermath of one or more partner’s infidelity. It offers a nurturing and non-judgmental environment where both individuals can delve into the underlying reasons behind the breach of trust, openly express their feelings, and collaboratively strive to mend their relationship. The overarching objective of infidelity counseling is to either facilitate a path to reconciliation, should both partners desire it, or guide them through the process of separation or divorce with clarity and empathy.
Infidelity counseling combines various therapeutic techniques, such as individual and couples therapy, cognitive behavioral approaches for changing destructive thought patterns, communication skills training for conflict resolution, Emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to rebuild trust, narrative therapy to reframe relationship narratives, and mindfulness practices for managing intense emotions. These methods work together to foster self-awareness, emotional healing, and the reconstruction of trust, leading to a healthier, more resilient relationship.

Adultery is a painful word. It summons up images of broken marriages and unhappy families and overall despair. When adultery and infidelity occur in a marriage or in a relationship, they occur always as part of an overall problem, often one that has been in the making for many years. It doesn’t just happen out of the blue for no reason whatsoever. Counseling for adultery can help couples find out exactly what went wrong in their relationships which ended up in one partner or the other being unfaithful. If you need counseling for infidelity, consider reaching out to Thriveworks Counseling in Nashville, TN. We are here to help.
The root cause of unfaithfulness in a relationship is unhappiness stemming from neglect or a lack of understanding anymore between the spouses. The relationship has “gone stale,” sex is rare and/or uninspiring, and loneliness and despair are setting in within the boundaries of the relationship. This is a prime breeding ground for an affair.
What infidelity does, though, is brutal. Those seeking counseling for adultery say that the following are some of the prime effects of unfaithfulness:
All these feelings come from being betrayed and are very natural. However, they can be overwhelming and consuming without counseling for infidelity, which can put them into perspective.
For couples that have gone through adultery and want to stick together and work things out, counseling for infidelity is strongly recommended. It’s not easy and can be tough and painful, but being brutally honest about the relationship with an independent professional can really clear the air for the future. A good counselor will:
There are many other ways that a counselor can help your marriage, especially if affected by adultery. But the most important thing is that YOU and your spouse need to want it to work as well.
