About
As someone who has experienced personal trauma and loss across my lifespan, I bring an authentic understanding of the impact of experiences on a person and strive to support empowerment in building new skills for living a life of joy once again.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) that holds a Master’s degree from East Tennessee State University. I have 10 years of experience in the social work field. My passion lies in helping people heal trauma and reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way. I bring a calm and warm presence to my sessions, creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported.
My background includes experience in behavioral intervention, substance use treatment, trauma focused treatment and hospice care. I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), existential therapy, and somatic practices.
Whether you’re navigating loss, processing trauma, or simply seeking a more grounded sense of self, I’m here to walk with you in that process. I genuinely care about the success and outcomes of each person I work with and enjoy supporting and encouraging them to live as the version of themselves that feels most authentic and aligned.

A Binge Eating Disorder can take on many different guises. The common theme revolves around an inability to stop eating, with no control over the consumption of food, even when entirely full. These issues are typically linked to feelings of shame, fear and even anger surrounding food consumption.
If any of these problems ring a bell, you may be a B.E.D. sufferer. For help, reach out to Thriveworks Knoxville. We can work to better understand your symptoms, offer a diagnosis, and provide the right treatment plan. We look forward to hearing from you.
B.E.D. is a serious condition and, if left untreated, a number of different physical and psychological consequences can develop. If B.E.D is left without treatment, these issues may become worse.
