She has 5 years of experience working with adults grappling with a broad range of mental health concerns, including anger management, anxiety, burnout, dependency, depression, grief, life transitions, low self-esteem, impulse control, stress, and trauma. Because past hurts and losses are not always surface-level, Stella promotes an environment of safety for clients to explore experiences, behaviors, and feelings.
Stella has a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Master’s in Health Administration from Suffolk University. She adopts an integrative approach and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based methods, and parts work.

LaSharta Pearson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 6 years of experience in the mental health field. She has experience treating anxiety/panic disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders (major life change, divorce), bipolar disorders, personality disorders, issues with parent/child relationships, substance use issues, LGBTQIA+-related needs, postpartum depression, psychosis, and schizophrenia. Over the course of her life, LaSharta has found multiple ways to serve her community and brings that experience to her mind-care work, including her time spent as a corrections officer and as a member of the US Air Force.

Yes, there are therapists who help with anger via Anger management therapy. It’s a therapeutic process that an individual goes through to manage their anger and identify its triggers. They’re given clear instructions on how to improve their angry behavior as well as a safe space for opening up about their emotions.
Once an individual’s triggers are identified, anger management therapy focuses on helping the individual process and respond to these emotions in a more positive and productive manner. The anger management therapist will provide coping strategies and ultimately help their client take back control of their anger.
