I am a Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) from Saginaw Valley State University and a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) from the University of Michigan, with over 15 years of nursing experience in the Emergency Department and as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient psychiatric clinic. I believe in individualized, person-centered, holistic care, and I specialize in diagnosing and treating people across the lifespan with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma, adjustment issues, and co-occurring disorders.
I begin by building a trusting relationship where clients feel comfortable. I help clients become active in their healing. I focus on educating clients about their condition and its impact on relationships and life. I educate clients about prescribed medications—how to take them and potential side effects—so adherence increases and progress isn't delayed.
I create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your needs. As someone whose parents were born and raised in a different country, I understand how culture can shape individual experiences and how much of an impact that can have on relationships. I take a holistic approach, treating the whole person and not just the symptoms.
