D’estinay Doxey is a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW-C). Her work experience includes medical social work and providing outpatient therapy to individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress management, and substance use issues.
D’estinay completed her Master of Social Work at Wayne State University. She utilizes a holistic approach to create a safe, understanding space to support and empower her clients. She incorporates a trauma-informed perspective into evidence-based practices including systems therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, seeking safety, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness.
