About
As a marriage and family therapist coming from a large blended family, I understand the ins and outs of relationships and how they can impact our lives. I have worked with many different individuals and have helped them navigate some of the good, bad, and ugly.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with 16 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. I help clients navigate relationship concerns, family conflict, parenting challenges, and LGBTQ+–related issues. I strive to create a warm, open, and safe therapeutic space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek support, and I am here to walk with you as you pursue meaningful change.
I completed my doctoral degree in counseling with a focus on marital, couple, and family therapy at Barry University. My approach is strength-based and tailored to meet you where you are—whether processing the past or navigating the present. I integrate the Gottman method and other evidence-based techniques to simplify challenges and support healing.
Congratulations on taking this step toward becoming the best version of yourself. Therapy is an investment in brighter days ahead, and I look forward to partnering with you as you strengthen insight, build new skills, and move toward the life you want. I am honored to support you and hope to meet you soon

My go-to approach for treating depression is CBT. I find it best helps with identifying unhelpful thinking patterns.
I teach the following tools in depression counseling:
I know a client is making meaningful progress in depression counseling when they start to report reduced frequency, severity, and intensity of symptoms. Typically, client keeps a weekly mood log for monitoring.
Client can supplement their time in depression counseling by incorporating a positive routine which includes daily affirmations, journaling, and a healthy lifestyle.
