I view mental health care as a partnership built on trust, empathy, and understanding. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience across inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and community-based settings, my approach is centered on meeting each person where they are, recognizing their strengths, and providing compassionate, personalized treatment that supports healing, resilience, and improved quality of life.
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) and extensive experience providing psychiatric care across inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and community-based settings. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, ADHD, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and other mental health conditions. I partner with clients seeking greater stability, improved functioning, and a personalized treatment approach to support their mental health goals.
My approach integrates evidence-based treatment, medication management, CBT, supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and individualized care planning. I work across inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and community-based settings to promote improved mental health outcomes.
My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout your journey. I am a LPCC-S and I got my masters degree in clinical mental health counseling at Kent State University. I primarily use narrative therapy, reality therapy/choice theory, EMDR, and ERP. I can see ages 10 years old and up and will be doing telehealth counseling only. I believe the client knows themselves more than I will ever know them and am here to help them with what I learned in school to reach their goals.
I believe we all have a story where what happened to us connects to other things that happen to us. Through mapping out your story, we can find peace in your life.
We all must choose between what is right and what is easy.

OCD counseling is a specialized therapeutic approach aimed at supporting individuals coping with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The goal of this counseling is to help clients manage and alleviate the distressing symptoms of OCD by systematically addressing their obsessive thought patterns and compulsive behaviors.
In OCD counseling, Thriveworks Cincinnati therapists use cognitive behavioral techniques, including exposure and response prevention, to assist you in addressing and managing your obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. An OCD therapist will collaborate with you to identify and modify irrational thought patterns while gradually and gently exposing you to anxiety-triggering situations, helping to disrupt the cycle of obsessive-compulsive rituals and promote healthier coping strategies.
Thriveworks OCD counseling in Cincinnati, OH is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The number of sessions for OCD counseling is variable, contingent upon the individual’s unique needs, the severity of their condition, and their progress during treatment. Typically, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), commonly used for OCD, comprises around 12 to 16 weekly sessions, but the exact session count can be customized based on the individual’s response to treatment and therapeutic objectives. Some opt for a more extended duration to comprehensively manage symptoms and address complex issues.
