About
My goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate psychiatric care that helps people move forward with greater clarity, stability, and confidence.
I’m a board-certified psychiatrist based in Kansas City with experience treating adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other common mental health challenges. I believe effective care starts with listening and understanding each person’s unique story. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and evidence-based, and I work closely with patients to develop practical treatment plans that help improve focus, mood, and overall quality of life.
My approach is collaborative and practical. I take time to understand each patient’s goals and challenges, then work together to create a clear, evidence-based treatment plan. Patients can expect thoughtful conversations, careful medication management, and a focus on helping them make meaningful progress in daily life.
I know reaching out for mental health care can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing what’s going on. If you’re looking for thoughtful, collaborative care, I’d be glad to work with you.

As an altruistic individual, it is my goal to provide the greatest care and service to all clients.
Hello, my name is Henry Clopton, and I'm a native Atlantan who believes in true communalism. I grew up on the Southwest side of Atlanta and attended Morehouse College and Georgia State University for my undergraduate work, then Georgia State for my master's in Rehabilitation Counseling. I'm currently in my third year of a Ph.D. program in the Humanities — with a double concentration in African American Studies and History — at Clark Atlanta University. I work with clients navigating self-esteem, anger, anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, marriage and relationship struggles, existential issues, and more.
During sessions, I create comfort through real conversation — to erase any fears or stereotypes about the counseling process. When you're in the therapeutic space with me, I want you to feel proud, capable, and enough. From there, we do the root work together — through whatever uncomfortable moments of growth that takes.
My goal is to help you become the best version of yourself. I want to give you the tools to meet any challenge and be a positive influence in your community. I hope to build a network of people who actively promote therapy and stand in the gap for those who don't yet know what it can do for their lives. Let's schedule some time to simply talk.

You do not have to navigate this season alone. Therapy can be a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow. When you are ready, I invite you to take the next step and begin the work toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.

I believe everyone should be treated as a human and an individual, so I try to be as genuine as possible while making sure that the person I'm meeting with has substantial input in treatment decisions.
Hi, I am Ryan Wade, a psychiatrist board certified in Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine. I completed medical school and my Psychiatry residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, followed by an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. Despite my training in the addiction field, I spend a large portion of my time focusing on mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. I find that I typically work most with people who want to consolidate their medication regimen or those who view medication as a tool, not solely the solution to the issues they are facing.
I attempt to meet people where they are and the level they are willing to engage with treatment as this varies significantly from person to person. I believe psychotherapy is quite powerful for most people and routinely recommend it alongside my work with clients, including any medications I would potentially prescribe.
If you are considering seeing someone for your mental health — or even wondering if what you are feeling day-to-day is "normal" and would like an assessment — feel free to schedule an appointment. There is no pressure to start medication or to even continue in treatment if you feel that it isn't right for you. I look forward to meeting you soon!
