About
As a bilingual therapist with over five years of experience working with teens and young adults, I create a supportive, practical space where we can understand what’s holding you back and build the tools you need to move forward—on and off the field.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a master's degree in clinical counseling and over 5 years of experience in the mental health field, including the past four years providing direct therapy. I have extensive experience working with teens and young adults, supporting them through a range of emotional and behavioral challenges while providing a supportive space for growth and healing. My approach is client-centered, practical, and goal-oriented. I integrate principles from therapy, sports psychology, and coaching to help clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and develop meaningful, lasting change.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to effectively support a diverse client population and provide culturally responsive care. Originally from Venezuela, I moved to St. Louis at the age of 16. I have also traveled to over 20 countries, shaping my cultural awareness and ability to connect with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
At 32, I bring both clinical training and real-world perspective to my work, helping clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I work with clients struggling with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and sexual or domestic violence. Many of my clients struggle with low self-worth, guilt and shame, always putting others before their needs, and feeling unheard and undervalued.
I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach, providing a collaborative, warm, nonjudgmental space. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the most powerful tool for change. Alongside this approach, I use cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR.
It can be difficult to take that first step and reach out, but each step can bring you closer to reaching your goals and becoming your best self. I feel honored to be part of your healing journey.

Hi! My name is Keana and I have worked in the mental health field since 2012. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tennessee State University and a Master of Science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. I have devoted the past 11 years of my career to working almost exclusively with survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and PTSD, and I have experience working in community mental health, both outpatient and IOP.
I support my clients by providing them with a physically and emotionally safe space to exist and unpack their story. In early treatment sessions, I focus my attention on getting to know them as a person, followed by working to better understand the challenges they're experiencing in their day-to-day lives.
Overall, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you work through your story. If it sounds like my approach would be a good fit for you, schedule a session with me. I look forward to meeting you!
I am grateful you are here and my hope is that I can help you with the challenges you are having right now....

I’m Jacob Glose, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and Arkansas with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I provide individual and couples therapy and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. I am trained in EMDR and offer trauma-informed care for clients looking to process difficult past experiences and move forward with more clarity and stability. My approach to therapy is collaborative and honest. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential.
I build that through consistency, trust, & clear communication. Early sessions focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, identifying your goals, and creating a plan that fits your needs. From there, the work involves exploring patterns, thoughts, and emotions that may be contributing to distress or keeping you stuck.
Beginning therapy can feel uncertain, but I work to create a supportive and steady space. My approach helps clients make sense of their experiences and build the insight and tools needed to face life’s challenges with more compassion, confidence, and direction.

My go-to approach for helping people in individual therapy is client-centered. I find the best benefit in this approach because it empowers, validates, and supports the client.
I teach the following tools in individual therapy:
I know a client is making meaningful progress in individual therapy when they report a decrease in symptoms.
Clients can supplement their time in individual therapy with seeking out appropriate support groups and journaling.
To prepare for your first individual therapy session, you can identify some goals to work on in therapy.
Individual therapy, also known as Individual therapy, allows people to engage in private sessions with a skilled therapist, counselor, or psychologist. The core objective of individual therapy is to establish a secure and confidential setting where you can openly discuss whatever emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges you face. Through these one-on-one sessions, the client and therapist work together to delve into, comprehend, and ultimately find solutions for the issues at hand in their life.
Individual therapy unfolds in a structured process, commencing with an initial assessment in which the therapist gathers essential information about your history, concerns, and objectives. Together, you and your therapist collaboratively establish specific, attainable goals for your sessions, which can encompass symptom alleviation, personal development, or finding solutions to particular challenges.
Yes, individual therapy, also known as Individual therapy, at Thriveworks can help you to improve your mental health and overall quality of life.
Individual therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and via Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The duration of your individual therapy sessions will vary. The decision on the number and frequency of sessions is typically collaboratively determined by the client and therapist.
