As one who has experienced my own traumas, losses and other "bumps in the road" life throws at us, I can identify with others in distress and try to align with them in finding their personal path to healing and empowerment.
My name is Jeff Miller, and I have been in the mental health field for over 30 years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work. My experience is varied—beginning in Cuyahoga County investigating allegations of abuse and neglect with extensive Juvenile Court involvement, then expanding to children and teens in foster care, residential treatment, and adoption settings. I have also worked with adults managing chronic or acute mental health conditions and dual diagnoses. I am open to working with most concerns, though depression and anxiety—often rooted in trauma and loss—are what I most typically address.
Building a therapeutic relationship and aligning with clients to find their “path” to healing is at the heart of my work. I help normalize certain feelings, and approach each person without judgment. I am honest and respectful of what a client can manage at any point in the process. Trust is developed and earned over time, and I fully understand that.
I look forward to meeting you and will always start from where you are. Our journey together will hopefully bring new understandings and positive life changes.

As a divorced woman, I understand how life can drastically change - often for the better, though, because life is truly what you make it!
I am a licensed independent social worker (LISW) with 13 years of experience supporting clients across all ages, backgrounds, and life circumstances. I specialize in working with individuals navigating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. I draw on both traditional and holistic approaches to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and authentic in their healing journey.
I earned my master’s in social work from Cleveland State University. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and herbal medicine-making. I also incorporate Ayurvedic-Informed Practices when appropriate as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
I create a calm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable expressing their truth and exploring new possibilities for healing. I value collaboration, authenticity, and the dedication clients bring to their own transformation. I welcome the opportunity to partner with you as you take the next step in your mental wellness journey.

With Thriveworks, Online therapy is an effective alternative to in-person therapy services in which a client can speak to a Thriveworks therapist remotely via online video conferencing. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person treatment, but they can also provide added benefits like reduced travel time, saving money on transportation or childcare, and increased access to care.
Online therapy works much like traditional in-person therapy but takes place through secure video conferencing. Clients can attend Online therapy from any safe place they choose that has access to the internet, whether that be their home or another easily accessible place. Like in-person treatment, a therapist will work with their client to address their concerns, create goals, and establish an effective treatment plan.
There is no best option for online therapy—instead, it’s best to focus on finding a provider that meets your specific needs and with whom you can form a professional connection with.
Yes, online therapy is just as effetive for many clients as in-person sessions.
Online therapy can last for a few months to years depending on the goals and symptoms of the client. The treatment process will be unique to each client and lend itself to their specific concerns, which means that the time it takes to treat them will always be different. Timing is also up to the client themselves; they are free to stop therapy whenever they please, especially if they feel they have reached their goals and addressed their concerns.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state. More information on current self-pay costs is available on our pricing page.
Lady Gaga is one of entertainment’s biggest stars who seemingly has it all. She’s earned global recognition for her flamboyant costumes, captivating lyrics, and powerful vocal talent. She’s earned critical acclaim including several Grammy awards and even an Oscar nomination for her lead role in the movie A Star is Born. She does what she loves and, as a result, has become one of the biggest singer-songwriters of the modern era.
But underneath the glowing stage persona, Lady Gaga has long struggled with mental health issues. She’s been open with the media and her fans about her history with trauma, PTSD, and other mental difficulties. In fact, she’s become a fierce advocate for mental health services to help break the stigma around getting help and to serve as a role model for those who may also be suffering.
