As a woman who has experienced trauma throughout my life, I have a deep understanding of how to learn the skills to overcome life's challenges.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 5 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, substance use challenges, and major life transitions. I am passionate about supporting people as they heal, grow, and rediscover their sense of purpose. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and trust, creating a safe space where clients can explore difficult emotions and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and trauma-focused therapies to guide my clients toward emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 11 years of experience supporting older adults, family caregivers, veterans, and individuals within LGBTQIA2S+ communities. As a Black, queer, lesbian, disabled veteran, I bring both lived experience and clinical expertise to my work. I often support clients navigating life transitions, caregiving stress, trauma, identity concerns, grief, and the emotional weight of long-held experiences.

My go-to approach for helping people in individual therapy is to provide a safe place for them to discover and implement strategies that increase a positive self-identity. I find the best benefit of individual therapy is the ability to create a treatment plan specific to the client's needs using their input.
I use a variety of tools in individual therapy, including MBTI assessment and homework specific to the client's reason for seeking therapy. The homework I give them often includes tasks and approaches like journal prompts, worksheets, motivational interviewing, DBT, ACT, and art therapy.
I know a client is making meaningful progress when they have gained personal insight since beginning therapy and have made strong progress toward treatment goals.
Between sessions, clients will complete homework and practice using positive, reality-based cognitive messages that enhance self-confidence and increase adaptive action.

The duration of your individual therapy sessions will vary. The decision on the number and frequency of sessions is typically collaboratively determined by the client and therapist.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state.
