Lisa’s own life experiences created the foundation for her desire to become a counselor and help others engage in healthy relationships. By learning new skills, she believes everyone can alleviate resentment and remain secure when dealing with conflict with family, friends, or partners.

Lisa received her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. She uses an emotionally focused approach to couples and family counseling, pulling from cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, and psychoanalytic therapy, among other methods.
