About
As a person with lived experience, I understand that your care needs to be tailored to you and focus on solutions to gain confidence in your ability to make changes.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with 33 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in working with individuals navigating complex and long-term challenges, including trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and life transitions. My work often supports clients who are seeking deeper insight, sustained change, and recovery through a thoughtful and collaborative therapeutic process.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from New York University. My clinical approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and incorporates motivational interviewing, stages of change, recovery-oriented care, and Beckian cognitive behavior therapy techniques that are tailored to each client’s unique needs.
You can expect me to be deeply curious about your experiences, goals, and personal story. Together, we will build a clear understanding of what has shaped you and develop strategies that support meaningful progress and hope. Change takes time and practice, and you do not have to navigate it alone. I am here to support you every step of the way.

Psychiatry allows people struggling to manage mental conditions or disorders to get access to medications that will make daily functioning easier, as well as work through any mental factors that might be causing or worsening their condition. Though medications can’t cure mental disorders, medication can make symptoms more manageable, making the process of psychotherapeutic treatment easier and more effective. Psychiatric care can be available through in-person psychiatry and online psychiatry, depending on where you live and your own preferences. However, psychiatric providers at Thriveworks in Vancouver, WA specifically offer online psychiatry to their clients.

A Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a highly trained and licensed professional who specializes in mental health care. Oftentimes, psychiatrists or psychiatric professionals will perform a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which involves an in-depth discussion about your symptoms, medical history, and current medications.
