I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 7 years of experience helping individuals understand their minds, emotions, and behaviors on a deeper level. My journey into mental health began with a passion for connection, compassion, and the healing power of self-awareness. I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, guiding them toward clarity and confidence. My go-to approach for depression counseling is CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). I feel this best allows me to understand where the client is and what their symptoms and their goals in treatment are.
During depression counseling, I teach tools such as mindfulness, breathing techniques, grounding techniques as a starting point, and daily goal setting if needed as a starting point.
I know a client is making progress in depression counseling through their reports of symptom reduction, improvement in mood, and desire to resume normal activities. I also watch their body language and positivity that starts to come out during conversations.

For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state.
