About
Having lived with anxiety since childhood, I deeply understand how overwhelming it can feel just getting through the day. I also know that with the right support and tools, it’s absolutely possible to thrive, build confidence, and find lasting peace through life’s changing stages.
I am a Resident in Counseling with 3 years of experience, supporting women and children navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, depression, and major life transitions. Whether adjusting to motherhood, shifting roles, or emotional overwhelm, I help clients feel grounded, confident, and connected to themselves again. My approach centers on creating a safe, compassionate space where healing feels manageable and growth feels possible, allowing clients to reconnect with clarity and balance in their everyday lives.
I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and integrate evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and behavioral activation. These approaches help me tailor support to each client’s unique experiences and goals, fostering emotional awareness, self-compassion, and lasting resilience.
I know how overwhelming life’s changes can feel, and I strive to help clients discover strength and confidence through practical coping tools and self-discovery. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy, just a willingness to start. I’m here to walk alongside you as you take that first step toward healing, growth, and renewed hope.

As someone diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and ADHD, I understand the challenges of maintaining balance across life’s many roles, pushing through feelings of inadequacy, and still learning to embrace the beautiful moments life offers.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 25 years of experience. I’ve worked in both community-based services and private practice, supporting individuals and families facing chronic homelessness, child and family needs, and crisis intervention. I specialize in helping adults navigate relationship challenges, grief, and major life transitions while fostering growth, peace, and purpose.
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and use a person-centered approach that integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, somatic work, bilateral stimulation, and parts work. I create a supportive space where clients build coping skills, process trauma, and find lasting resilience and emotional balance.
I believe everyone deserves a space where they can safely explore their fears, experiences, and emotions without judgment. It’s a privilege to walk alongside clients on their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and greater fulfillment in life.

My preferred approach to helping people in individual therapy is listening to them. I find this provides people with a safe space to both explore and self-determine.
I like to teach tools unique to the individual, but here are some tools I find broadly useful:
I know a client is making meaningful progress in individual therapy when they express feeling more in alignment with themselves and their own values.
Clients can supplement their time in individual therapy by practicing boundaries and communication skills.
To prepare for your first individual therapy session, you can come ready with an idea of what you want out of counseling that you can put into words.
With Thriveworks, Online therapy is an effective alternative to in-person therapy services in which a client can speak to a Thriveworks therapist remotely via online video conferencing. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person treatment, but they can also provide added benefits like reduced travel time, saving money on transportation or childcare, and increased access to care.
Online therapy works much like traditional in-person therapy but takes place through secure video conferencing. Clients can attend Online therapy from any safe place they choose that has access to the internet, whether that be their home or another easily accessible place. Like in-person treatment, a therapist will work with their client to address their concerns, create goals, and establish an effective treatment plan.
There is no best option for online therapy—instead, it’s best to focus on finding a provider that meets your specific needs and with whom you can form a professional connection with.
Yes, online therapy is just as effetive for many clients as in-person sessions.
Online therapy can last for a few months to years depending on the goals and symptoms of the client. The treatment process will be unique to each client and lend itself to their specific concerns, which means that the time it takes to treat them will always be different. Timing is also up to the client themselves; they are free to stop therapy whenever they please, especially if they feel they have reached their goals and addressed their concerns.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state. More information on current self-pay costs is available on our pricing page.
