About
I genuinely understand how confusing and overwhelming it can feel when life seems to be falling apart, but finding new tools for healing can help us find strength and hope again.
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) with 11 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. I earned my master’s in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, family systems, and creative therapeutic tools to meet each client’s needs. Mental health affects those from all walks of life, and I truly believe that seeking treatment is the first step to healing.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 5 years of experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder. Before becoming an advanced practice registered nurse in 2024, I worked as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient facility. My nursing background spans 8 years in areas such as orthopedics, neurology/trauma, medical-surgical, and psychiatry. I bring this diverse experience to support clients with compassion, respect, and evidence-based care.
I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Walden University. I believe in meeting clients where they are, building trust through open dialogue, and encouraging small but meaningful steps toward growth. I incorporate both medication management and non-pharmacological strategies to support overall mental wellness.
I understand that seeking care is not always easy, but you are not alone. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood instability, or other challenges, I want you to feel seen, supported, and valued. My goal is to help you take that first step with confidence and to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing.
