Hi, I'm Merri Hunter, LSCSW—it's a pleasure to meet you! I have been practicing narrative therapy since 2005, working with people navigating depression, anxiety, and addiction across a variety of settings, including residential, outpatient, drug court, incarcerated, and hospital environments. The common thread I've seen is a need to understand how past events have contributed to present challenges. I welcome all clients and am especially passionate about helping people in early recovery, though I'm equally here for anyone looking to develop coping skills, build social support, and work toward meaningful goals.

Dr. Linda Simmons is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about helping adults achieve healing and greater life fulfillment. Dr. Simmons specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, pain management, relationship issues, faith issues, and major life transitions.

Dr. Simmons earned her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Truman University. Dr. Simmons has continued her training and received her certification in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). She sees psychotherapy as a collaborative process with her clients, providing education and expert guidance, and encouraging clients to reach their goals. Psychotherapy is not a one-size-fits-all process and therapeutic approaches will be individualized to meet the client's needs.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 5 years of experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder. Before becoming an advanced practice registered nurse in 2024, I worked as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient facility. My nursing background spans 8 years in areas such as orthopedics, neurology/trauma, medical-surgical, and psychiatry. I bring this diverse experience to support clients with compassion, respect, and evidence-based care.

I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Walden University. I believe in meeting clients where they are, building trust through open dialogue, and encouraging small but meaningful steps toward growth. I incorporate both medication management and non-pharmacological strategies to support overall mental wellness.
