Thriveworks psychologists in Joliet, IL provide standard psychotherapy services, tailoring treatment to each client and their unique concerns. However, they can also provide diagnoses to clients when appropriate, something that therapists and counselors cannot do. Finally, in some states in the U.S., they are allowed to prescribe medication.
Psychological treatment at Thriveworks Joliet is very individualized and specific to each client, which means that the duration of treatment is often varied depending on a client’s condition or disorder, the state of their symptoms, and their specific goals.

Psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors may use a blend of different approaches, depending on what will best help the client.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is one of the most popular and effective evidence-based treatments available to Thriveworks clients. CBT can help with a wide variety of problematic behaviors and issues, from relationship problems to anxiety to depression. Countless people have reaped the rewards of their clinical experience with CBT.
We all have problems that need solving. We all experience difficult life transitions. We all have our moments of upset and unhappiness.
