I find the best benefit in this approach because it allows clients to lead the process and explore their grief at their own pace. By validating their emotions and experiences, I can build trust and empower them to find healthy coping mechanisms that work best for them.

I teach a variety of tools in grief & loss counseling, depending on the client's needs and preferences, including:

  • Journaling: Writing down thoughts and feelings can help clients process their emotions, identify patterns in their grief, and track their progress.
  • Mindfulness techniques: Techniques like meditation and deep breathing can help clients manage overwhelming emotions and develop a sense of calm in the present moment.
