About
I believe healing begins with being truly seen and heard, so I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories, rediscover their strength, and grow toward lasting change.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 6 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through seasons of change, healing, and growth. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions, helping them build insight, strengthen communication, and develop healthier connections with themselves and others. My clients often come to therapy seeking peace, balance, and the confidence to live more authentically as we work toward meaningful, lasting change together.
I earned my master’s in secondary education and clinical mental health counseling from Alcorn State University. My approach is collaborative and grounded in empathy, using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients identify unhelpful patterns, build emotional awareness, and foster sustainable growth.
I understand that reaching out for support takes courage, and I want my clients to know they don’t have to walk this journey alone. Together, we can create space for healing, self-discovery, and renewed hope—one step at a time. When you’re ready, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

OCD counseling is a specialized therapeutic approach aimed at supporting individuals coping with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The goal of this counseling is to help clients manage and alleviate the distressing symptoms of OCD by systematically addressing their obsessive thought patterns and compulsive behaviors.
In OCD counseling, Thriveworks Grand Prairie therapists use cognitive behavioral techniques, including exposure and response prevention, to assist you in addressing and managing your obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. An OCD therapist will collaborate with you to identify and modify irrational thought patterns while gradually and gently exposing you to anxiety-triggering situations, helping to disrupt the cycle of obsessive-compulsive rituals and promote healthier coping strategies.
Thriveworks OCD counseling in Grand Prairie, TX is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The number of sessions for OCD counseling is variable, contingent upon the individual’s unique needs, the severity of their condition, and their progress during treatment. Typically, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), commonly used for OCD, comprises around 12 to 16 weekly sessions, but the exact session count can be customized based on the individual’s response to treatment and therapeutic objectives.
