Marcy West is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 30 years of experience in the mental health, substance abuse, and medical social work professions. Marcy has vast experience treating a variety of age groups and concerns. She provides treatment to those encountering issues with depression/anxiety, relationships, mood disorders, substance abuse, mental stress, grief, and anger, which impact overall functioning. She also enjoys teaching stress reduction methods such as meditation techniques and progressive muscle relaxation.
Marcy completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Grand Valley State University. Marcy’s approach is client-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused. She utilizes various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.

Marriage counseling works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges.
