About
As a woman of color who has faced challenges, I understand how hardship affects us and how learning new skills can restore our empowerment.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 16 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I support clients navigating depression, anxiety, mood concerns, substance use, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. My work spans community mental health, residential treatment, and private practice, allowing me to serve individuals from diverse backgrounds with compassion and respect.
I earned my master’s degree in professional counseling from Argosy University. My approach is holistic and strengths-based, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. I believe clients possess the capacity for growth and healing, and I work collaboratively to support meaningful, lasting change.
Beginning therapy takes courage, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Together, we will identify your goals and develop a personalized treatment plan to help you regain balance, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. I would be honored to support you on your journey.
