About
As a therapist with a disability, I know firsthand what it feels like to move through a world that isn’t adapted to you. Healing begins when we change how we meet our challenges by learning to work with every part of who we are instead of resisting it. It’s our strengths and vulnerabilities together that make us who we are.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Treatment Victim Advocate with 4 years of experience supporting adults and older teens. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or identity challenges and simply want to feel better, however that looks like for them. My approach is grounded in meeting you where you are, offering a mix of empathy, real talk, and humor when it fits. While we can’t always control what happens around us, we can learn to cope, connect, and feel more in charge of our story.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. My style is collaborative and trauma-informed, focusing on validation, emotional regulation, and practical coping tools. I also have extensive experience supporting survivors of domestic violence and individuals with disabilities as they rebuild confidence and rediscover their own voice.
Life can be messy, and healing isn’t about pretending it’s not. Therapy is your space to unpack what’s been weighing you down and find clarity in the chaos. You don’t have to go through it alone, and if you’re ready to start exploring your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Yes, there are therapists who help with anger via Anger management therapy. It’s a therapeutic process that an individual goes through to manage their anger and identify its triggers. They’re given clear instructions on how to improve their angry behavior as well as a safe space for opening up about their emotions.
Once an individual’s triggers are identified, anger management therapy focuses on helping the individual process and respond to these emotions in a more positive and productive manner. The anger management therapist will provide coping strategies and ultimately help their client take back control of their anger.
The five keys to mastering anger include identifying triggers, pausing before reacting, calmly expressing emotions, discovering constructive outlets for frustration, and seeking professional assistance if necessary. Acquiring these skills through Anger management therapy empowers individuals to effectively manage and navigate their anger.
The best therapy for anger management often involves cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which helps individuals identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior related to anger.
Anger management therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
Often, Anger management therapy lasts between 4-6 weeks. However, it can last longer, dependent on the individual’s needs.
