About
As a woman of color who has navigated trauma and loss, I understand how deeply life’s painful experiences can affect us and am committed to supporting clients with empathy, authenticity, and healthy coping skills.
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with 16 years of experience supporting clients through challenges such as self-esteem concerns, mood disorders, trauma, and major life transitions. I aim to meet you exactly where you are in your journey and provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to navigate the complexities of life with greater confidence and clarity.
I earned my master’s degree in community counseling from Argosy University. I use an integrated approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and reality-based techniques to help clients build practical coping skills, gain insight, and strengthen their sense of control in their daily lives.
I am excited that you are taking this step toward healing, and it would be an honor to support you along the way. I am committed to offering a nonjudgmental space where we can explore your strengths and work toward meaningful growth at a pace that feels safe for you. You deserve care, compassion, and a path forward—and I look forward to walking it with you.

Through my personal experiences with trauma and loss, I understand how challenging life circumstances can shape our lives and how building new life skills can support healing and renewed empowerment.
I am a licensed independent social worker (LISW) with 29 years of experience providing therapy and coaching to individuals navigating life’s challenges. I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, parenting struggles, career transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and the lasting effects of physical and emotional trauma. Many of the individuals I work with seek relief from emotional distress, greater clarity during times of transition, improved relationships, and a deeper sense of balance and fulfillment.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from St. Ambrose University. My approach is eclectic and individualized, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational emotive therapies. I focus on strengths, practical solutions, and skill-building in a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment that supports resilience and growth.
I recognize that beginning therapy takes courage, and you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you are working through a difficult season or pursuing personal growth, I am here to support and empower you. When you are ready, I invite you to take the next step and begin a collaborative journey toward a more balanced and fulfilling life
