About
I know how heavy life can feel, and through my personal experiences with loss and anxiety and my professional work supporting others, I’ve learned that healing, growth, and empowerment are possible.
I love helping all people navigate anxiety and the ups and downs of everyday life—because let's be honest, it can get a little chaotic. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, nonjudgmental, and real, where you can be yourself. Along the way, I'll help you gain insight, build tools, and maybe even share a few laughs as you grow into the version of yourself you're working toward.
My approach is warm, person-centered, and empathetic. I use trauma-focused care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to help clients understand themselves and build healthier ways of coping. I especially enjoy supporting individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, low self-esteem, and trauma.
No matter where you are in your journey, you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Healing, growth, and change are possible. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful transformation. When you're ready, I would be honored to support you as you move toward healing and personal growth.

My approach to couples counseling is to help the couple prioritize their relationship. It's crucial to help couples communicate effectively so they can meet each other's needs.
I teach couples how to use positive communication such as active listening and responding without reacting.
I know that couples are making meaningful progress when they can discuss difficult situations in the session without the discussion turning into a heated argument.
Clients can practice their communication skills outside of sessions and focus on making the relationship a priority outside of their scheduled session time.
In order to prepare for a couple's first session, one can identify not only what they would like to change within the relationship but to recognize what is going well.
Thriveworks Couples therapy helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. It is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples. Some examples of common focuses within couples therapy include:
Couples therapy works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges. Following an initial assessment of the couple in terms of strengths and needs, the therapist would then discuss their therapeutic goals and any possible approaches or ways of working together as therapist and couple.Couples attend sessions together, whether they meet in person or by video. In addition to regular couples therapy sessions, each partner may also be asked to attend a few individual sessions to supplement their progress. This will allow their counselor to get to know each individual better, assess each of their personal needs, and develop the very best treatment plan moving forward.
Couples therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and via Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend couples therapy for 12 weeks. However, couples therapy may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
