It is my honor to join with you in your counseling journey and help hold hope as you work to go and grow through life.
The counseling journey can be hard work. It takes courage to reach out for help — thank you for taking that important first step! I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor who has helped hold hope for clients in counseling for over 20 years. I have a master's and doctorate in counseling, which adds to the skills and support I offer. Are there issues with stress, anxiety, grief, loss, sadness, or a life transition? Are you a new or new-again parent navigating the "challenging 3's" with your child? These are just some of the reasons clients, from children to adults, come to counseling with me in English and Spanish.
So how can I help? As a clinical mental health counselor, I will offer you a safe space and listen without judgment. I believe that you and your story matter. I counsel from a holistic, mind-body-heart perspective that is realistic and grounded. I will help you explore strategies and coping skills that are useful and practical for you in your life.
My clients come to counseling to heal, grow, gain new ideas, skills, and understanding, and know they are not alone. With each client I have the honor of holding hope for in the counseling space, I am reminded of how resilient and amazing the human spirit is. I would be honored to join you in counseling and help hold hope.

Having experienced close family loss and living with a learning disability, I deeply understand how life’s challenges can weigh heavily and the pressure to push beyond what feels humanly possible.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with 4 years of experience supporting individuals and families through times of challenge and change. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate learning and developmental disabilities, build coping skills, and find renewed purpose in their healing journey.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from West Virginia University. I use cognitive behavioral therapy and mindful interviewing to help clients manage emotions, strengthen coping skills, and shift unhelpful thought patterns.
My approach is compassionate, goal-focused, and collaborative. I truly care about understanding what you’re going through and providing a safe, supportive space for healing. You don’t have to face things alone. Let’s navigate this journey together. When you’re ready, I’m here for you.

If you’re facing persistent relationship problems, communication breakdowns, or unresolved conflicts that are impacting your emotional well-being and happiness, Couples/marriage therapy may be beneficial for you.

Marriage and couples counseling at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend marriage and couples counseling for 12 weeks. However, couples & marriage counseling may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
