About
As a therapist, my personal experiences, combined with work in schools and as a first responder, have deepened my understanding of the profound impact of trauma and stress. This understanding ignites my passion to create a space where others feel seen, supported, and empowered to navigate challenges and move towards healing and growth.
I am a licensed professional counselor who works with individuals looking for support, clarity, and a way to move forward. Life can feel overwhelming—especially when past experiences, trauma, anxiety, or stress affect how you see yourself and your future. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as we work through those challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct, and I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership. I use a blend of CBT, EMDR, and person-centered therapy to help clients process trauma, understand patterns, and develop practical tools.
In our work together, we will focus on both understanding your experiences and building a clear path forward. I enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, and take manageable steps toward the life they want.
I provide telehealth therapy, offering flexible and accessible support for individuals who are ready to heal, grow, and move forward.

However, they can also provide diagnoses to clients when appropriate, something that therapists and counselors cannot do. A common misconception about psychotherapy is that you need to be on the verge of a breakdown to reach out for help. Working with a psychologist in therapy sessions can teach you a lot about yourself and the way you think. Each person’s experience with their mental health is unique, and your mental health treatment plan will be unique to you.
Psychologists cater each client’s treatment to their specific needs. This might mean that they draw heavily on a particular type of therapy, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which is frequently used for clients dealing with anxiety or depressive disorders. Above all else, psychotherapy is a dedicated time for you to focus on yourself each week. No matter what issue you’re dealing with, taking the time to understand yourself and articulate the values and needs that are important to you in life can significantly impact your sense of self and happiness.
