Jacqueline Nelson, PhD, MA, BA, LPC, LPC-S is a dedicated and highly experienced Psychotherapist committed to fostering holistic healing and personal evolution. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Houston (Central Campus); a Master’s in Professional Christian Counseling from Liberty University; and, a PhD in Professional Counseling, Education, and Supervision from Walden University.

With over 15 years of diverse experience—including roles as a Therapist, Supervisor, Crisis Psychotherapist, and Assistant Professor—Dr. Nelson brings a wealth of clinical and academic expertise to her practice. Her extensive background in career counseling, student advocacy, and supervising counseling students highlights her strong capabilities in mentorship and professional coaching.

Dr. Nelson utilizes an eclectic, individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that every client’s path to wellness is unique. While rooted as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, she seamlessly integrates strategies from Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, Existential, Positive Psychology, Gestalt, and Psychodynamic theories. Dr. Nelson is passionate about supporting individuals and families across all stages of human development, helping them navigate complex emotional, mental, and physical challenges.

I provide individual, family, and couples counseling services, specializing in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment disorders, addiction and relationship challenges. My approach is trauma-informed and focuses on helping clients develop effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, process difficult life experiences, and build resilience. 

Through evidence-based interventions, psychoeducation, emotional regulation strategies, communication skills, and strength-based support, I help clients build resilience, improve coping, and achieve meaningful personal growth towards healing.

Mycael Parks is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 5 years of experience in the mental health field. She specializes in helping adolescents and young adults struggling with concerns including life transitions, anxiety, stress, grief, anger management, assertiveness, and self-esteem. Before becoming a counselor, Mycael worked as a teacher and enjoyed partnering with families to support students’ social and emotional growth. Her goal is to get to know her clients and their support systems on a deeper level and work collaboratively to make meaningful personal transformations.

Mycael has a Master of Science in Counseling from Oklahoma State University. She uses techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, culturally sensitive therapy, and faith-based therapy based on each person’s needs and goals.

By offering an authentic and caring approach, Mycael strives to create a supportive space for individuals to grow and engage in healing.
