I am Jessica Hutchison, a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-A) with almost two years of professional experience. I have worked mainly with children ages 4 to 18, providing family therapy and parenting sessions, though I am trained to work with all ages. My clients have faced ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, substance abuse, ODD, suicidal ideation, self-harm, stress-related disorders, and mood disorders — wanting to manage symptoms, learn to love themselves, become more successful, or simply "not be sad anymore." I want to help all of my clients become the best and happiest versions of themselves. 

The main techniques I have used with my clients are play therapy, CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, client-centered therapy, mindfulness training, psychoeducation, reflective listening, and goal setting. I believe in clear, honest, open communication between therapist and client to help build a healthy and trusting rapport.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Gonzaga University, a Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University, and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Denver. This past year, I completed courses at Clemson University's Clinical Mental Health program for my LPC-A in South Carolina. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and hold an Initial School Counseling Certificate in South Carolina. While I primarily work with children and teens, I enjoy supporting clients across all stages of life. 

I will listen and support you in a warm and nurturing environment and will be a positive support on your journey. I frequently incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based approach to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. I can use Play Therapy to address emotional and behavioral challenges in younger clients.

Alex Farley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 2 years of experience in the mental health field. He works with children, teens, adults, and seniors dealing with anxiety, depression, marital conflict, loss, social isolation, trauma, and relationship challenges. He believes that growth and change occur when people feel heard and can start to view their challenges from a different perspective.

Alex has a Master of Education in Clinical Counseling from Winthrop University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. He uses various approaches with his clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, person-centered therapy, and play therapy.

Alex knows from personal experience that life can be challenging, and that asking for help can be the bravest and best decision a person can make. He is committed to ensuring every client in every session feels empowered to live a healthier and happier life.

Katherine “Katie” Blackley is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 3 years of experience in the field. Her primary focuses are identity issues, life transitions, family and relationship issues, trauma, grief, and mood disorders. She has completed additional training programs focused on counseling family members of people with terminal illnesses. Katie also has a passion for working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and has experience working with people of all age groups.

Katie received her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University. Her counseling approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy and a person-centered approach. Depending on the client's needs, she also utilizes narrative therapy, attachment theory, internal family systems therapy, and play therapy for young children ages 4-12.

Katie's primary goal as a counselor is to work with each person and help them find a deeper understanding of who they are and where the problems they are dealing with stem from, and help to strategize on realistic goals that can help each person become more content with themselves and their life situation. I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Clemson University. I am trained in motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I'm a licensed professional counselor associate with seven years of experience working with children and young adults from all areas and walks of life. I received my bachelor of arts in psychology from Liberty University in 2010 and my master of arts in professional counseling from Liberty University in 2013. I enjoy working with children, teens, college students, and adults who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and life transitions.

I earned my master's in social work from the University of South Carolina. My clinical background includes extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy and certification in cognitive processing therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder.
