Rene' Larrabee is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with more than 13 years of experience in the mental health field. She has experience working with children and families as well as individuals of all ages. Rene' specializes in helping people cope with symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
Rene' completed her Master's degree in Art Therapy at Emporia State University in Kansas. She moved to Colorado in 1999 to pursue a career in mental health. Rene' utilizes multiple treatment approaches to help you work toward balance in your life including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and existential therapy, all of which teach skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Yes, there are therapists who help with anger via Anger management therapy. It’s a therapeutic process that an individual goes through to manage their anger and identify its triggers. They’re given clear instructions on how to improve their angry behavior as well as a safe space for opening up about their emotions.
Once an individual’s triggers are identified, anger management therapy focuses on helping the individual process and respond to these emotions in a more positive and productive manner. The anger management therapist will provide coping strategies and ultimately help their client take back control of their anger.
