Eileen Ganong is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 14 years of experience working with adults and seniors who are faced with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, weight-related issues, grief, difficult life transitions, trauma, and PTSD.
Eileen received her Master's degree from Barry University in Miami, FL, and is licensed in Florida as well as her home state of Idaho. Her experience includes working for seven years as an inpatient Social Worker at an acute care psychiatric unit, supervising a large Mobile Crisis team, and assisting in outpatient therapy. Her therapeutic approaches include trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. It can be very overwhelming to see a therapist, particularly if this is your first time.
Eileen's casual approach is designed to make you as comfortable as possible and invites you to share your story and offers a warm, non-threatening and non-judgmental atmosphere. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience, licensed in both Nevada and Idaho. I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including family homes, community mental health centers, and private practice. I specialize in helping clients work through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on building resilience.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nevada, where I developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. I use approaches such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and internal family systems to guide the healing process.

Online therapy works much like traditional in-person therapy but takes place through secure video conferencing. Clients can attend Online therapy from any safe place they choose that has access to the internet, whether that be their home or another easily accessible place. Like in-person treatment, a therapist will work with their client to address their concerns, create goals, and establish an effective treatment plan.

Online therapy can last for a few months to years depending on the goals and symptoms of the client. The treatment process will be unique to each client and lend itself to their specific concerns, which means that the time it takes to treat them will always be different. Timing is also up to the client themselves; they are free to stop therapy whenever they please, especially if they feel they have reached their goals and addressed their concerns.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state.
