I have been in a place where it felt that a storm of problems was all there is to life, and I know that together we can find at least one good reason to hold on.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 12 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, anger management, and life transitions. My work includes supporting men managing intense emotional responses, couples who feel disconnected, and individuals who feel stuck or overwhelmed by circumstances that make it difficult to move forward.
I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. My clinical experience includes work in a behavioral health hospital serving individuals with significant emotional and mental health challenges. I primarily use narrative therapy, helping clients explore how their life experiences have shaped their current challenges.
Together, we will examine the stories that have been shaping your thoughts, emotions, and decisions. I help clients identify strengths, reconnect with personal values, and build clarity around what matters most to them. My goal is to support you in moving forward with renewed purpose, confidence, and direction in your life.

What if you went to bed one night and had a dream about moving to your favorite place on earth—where would it be? While we’re at it, what if you could choose any type of employment or create a business—what would you choose? The “Miracle Questions,” as they are called in Life Coaching, explore the answers that can spur you to communicate the things you want in life. You may not even know the answers to these questions, because you are too busy—work, family, answering emails and texts, and basically being on the treadmill that is your life. There are so many “distractions” that you don’t know what you really want out of life—and if you do, you haven’t focused on how to achieve it.
The experienced Life Coaches at Thriveworks will work with you to identify the issues that hold you back from the things you want and help you focus on goals that result in a well-rounded, healthy life.
The Life Coaches at Thriveworks can serve as your accountability partners and will work with you on a plan to stay focused on what you want—to learn how to interact with people at work and in your personal life, make great first impressions, create a healthy work-life balance and more.
In addition, Life Coaches will work with you if you are experiencing the following situations.
1) You have so much creativity and great ideas for your business. But, sometimes you are like a ball that bounces from one idea to the next. You aren’t able to stay on task, and you don’t know why you can’t focus on one thing long enough to see it through to fruition.A Life Coach will work with you to clarify what you really want for your business, filtering out ideas that do not serve the bigger vision you have.
2) Some people dream of going to school for art, acting or writing. But, at times, they find family members and friends are not supportive of their dreams. They are told that they can’t really make it in such competitive fields or the percentage of people who actually succeed in those careers is very slim. Oftentimes, they are told that they should have a “real” career that will make them the money to live and do art, acting, or writing during their leisure time. All of the advice swirls around causing self-doubt. A Life coach will work with you to sort out what you want and identify the steps that will get you there, as well as help with strategies.
3) You point out your flaws excessively. Most of the things you bring to everybody’s attention would never have been noticed otherwise. While self-criticism can often help people learn from their mistakes, you are extreme to the point that you avoid taking risks, asserting opinions or believing in your own abilities. You are unhappy with your life, because the self-criticism prevents you from moving forward. Life Coaches will work with you to unearth the reasons for your thoughts and feelings that make you self-critical, as well as form a plan and the strategies to become more confident in yourself.
