Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida with 10 years of experience working with adults, children, and families. Stephanie works with adults to treat anxiety, depression, and trauma to include domestic violence and recent or childhood abuse. She also partners with clients to address childhood disorders including oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder and accompanying parental support, ADHD in children, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Abdul holds a master’s degree in social work from Howard University’s School of Social Work. Prior to getting his MSW, he was working at an outpatient community mental health center and working on getting certified as an addiction counselor. He employs a variety of techniques including psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, Socratic questioning, and unconditional positive regard. His treatment orientation is heavily influenced by rational emotive and cognitive approaches. Abdul always aims to help clients understand what they want from their lives and to motivate them to achieve those goals.

I am trauma-informed and trained in EMDR, Expressive Arts, Person-Centered, and CBT, and am working toward RPT certification.
